Welcome to Sobremesa Supper Club: a monthly dinner series created to foster community, conversation, and bring friends, old and new, together over food and drink.

Ok, so here’s the deal - we’re elder millennials and living through unprecedented times is turning into a habit. We’re ready for a bit of grounding (after the pandemic/recession/inflation/politics/wars/insert event in the last 20 years here) and what’s more normal than sitting down for a meal, listening to music, opening bottle after bottle of wine, and talking with people you may or may not already know?

Our Supper Club is built on the belief that food and music have the unbendable power to connect and break down barriers. We’re channeling traditional dinner parties but removing the fussiness. Each dinner is thoughtfully designed to foster open, dynamic conversation fueled by dishes inspired by generations of family tradition and music curated to fit the theme of each menu.

Whether you come alone or bring a friend, we are excited to welcome you to our table for delicious food, many glasses of wine, meaningful conversation, and….

sobremesa: the moments after a meal.

  • Supper Club is a monthly dinner series set in an intimate, private home or venue. Each dinner is posted with theme, date, and time outlined. Menus are published a few days ahead of the event on our Instagram page. Location is shared with guests 24 hours before the meal.

  • Each dinner accommodates between 10-12 guests. Here's how it works:

    1. Please fill out the guest ticket request form. We want to know more about you!

    2. Tickets will be confirmed a week after event publication over email.

    3. We suggest a donation of $20/guest and a bottle of wine to share!

  • We are not professional chefs. Each menu is developed to fit the theme of the dinner and shared in advance of the meal.

Dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated but we aim to always have vegetarian options available for guests.

  • Sobremesa Supper Club aims to bring people together and foster diverse conversation. Our intent is that every guest feels respected and heard. We welcome everyone to our table and expect that guests are kind and thoughtful about the lived experience of others.

  • Dinner themes will include a dress code. We encourage guests to dress up. (We've spent enough time in loungewear!) It's a dinner party, put on what makes you feel your absolute best.

  • Yes! We love to collaborate and partner to support the local community. Also, hosting opportunities are available - let's talk!

Send a note to sobremesasupper@gmail.com - we can't wait to connect!
